Grown Turns Five

It’s our 5th birthday…wow! What an incredible five years is has been, filled with growth, creativity and so many sweet memories! Part of our birthday celebration includes a fresh new logo, same Grown just with a new look. It's the small things in life. 

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported the brand over the years, thank you for coming along on our journey. Take a trip down memory lane with us and celebrate Grown turning five! 

In honour of five years, we did a quick fire five questions with our founder Sara. 

If you had to pick one, what's your favourite ever Grown piece?

The first ever funfetti jumper - the colour was 'surf' 

What's your favourite part of motherhood? 

*stares longingly at the sky* There are so many... it would have to be getting to be 'their person' I am the one person that sometimes my children just need and want and for that I am very grateful

How do you start your design process?

The first thing I do is build my colour palette and key silhouettes, then look at what's sold well in our past collections and then I ALWAYS think about what I need for my kids that I can't currently find in the current market, you can see the collections have been more orientated to the age and style of my own children

What's your favourite beach on the Mornington Peninsula? 

I love the back beaches - my favourite would be the Spray Point lookout in Blairgowrie 

What did you want to be when you were a child? 

Well, a librarian at first when I was very little *laughs* but I've always wanted to be a dressmaker or seamstress
