Asha Cook x Grown: Art, Nature & the August Collection
For our August collection, we’ve teamed up with local artist Asha Cook once again.
Based on the Mornington Peninsula, Asha’s work is deeply connected to the environment she grew up around. Her hand-painted watercolours capture local flora and fauna with incredible detail, alongside a distinctly marine-inspired style that brings a sense of character and movement to every piece.
For this collection, Asha has created two original watercolour artworks for Grown. Each painting began by hand in Asha’s studio before being digitally transformed into prints for a selection of tees and sweats, bringing her artwork into the everyday in a completely new way.

From the ocean to the wardrobe
Asha’s connection to the underwater world is a huge part of her practice. For her, painting marine life is a way of drawing attention to the beauty beneath the surface and encouraging people to value and protect it.
Growing up surrounded by the coastline of the Mornington Peninsula, that connection feels particularly natural. Her work reflects the character of the environment around her, while still leaving room for imagination. No two fish are exactly alike, and that individuality comes through in every painting.
Art made to be worn
The idea behind this collaboration was simple: take something originally created as a piece of art and make it part of an everyday wardrobe.
The perch and parrot fish have been digitally printed onto soft, easy-to-wear tees and sweats, giving the artwork a new life beyond the canvas. They’re statement pieces without feeling like they’re trying too hard, designed to be worn, layered and lived in.
A local collaboration
We love working with local creatives, and collaborating with Asha again felt like a natural fit. Her connection to the Mornington Peninsula, her love of the natural world and her thoughtful approach to her work all align with what we love about Grown.
It’s a collection that brings together art, nature and everyday dressing, with original artwork made by hand and designed to be enjoyed well beyond the studio.
